Admin is using Symantec Endpoint Protection to Disable the USB devices on my system. How do i enable Pendrive access?

editing the registry does not help, as symantec blocks access to pendrive after the computer detects it. Please help on how to deactivate symantec endpoint protection.

Note: I have adminstrator rights on my PC, but certain settings of symantec endpoint protection cannot be changed

Well, the admin wont come to know if they are not monitoring every USB port / every computer. What can actually happen is that every time you reboot the computer, the changes might get overwritten owing to group policy.

Check if other USB controllers are active. Use Device Manager on your computer to check the status of other USB controllers.
