Google, the big daddy of search has for the first time released its list of best practices and search engine optimization starter guide for beginners. But before we go and check it out, lets see what SEO is all about.
What is Search Engine Optimization or SEO ?Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via “natural” (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results, or the higher it “ranks,” the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.
Google Webmaster Blog has released an interesting best practices guide with a Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide. So do have a look at this SEO guide from Google and enhances your chances of getting listed on top pages in google search results.
