Track Your Lost or Stolen Mobile Phone Using Phone Guardian

If you are someone who is worried about losing your S60 Symbian cellphone, Phone Guardian can help you put rest to your worries.

Phone Guardian is a mobile security anti-thief software for your Series 60 v3 Symbian smartphones. In case your mobile is forgotten or stolen, Phone Guardian will allow you to remotely secure and auto lock your Symbian mobile by sending a lock SMS.

Once you have locked the cellphone using Phone Guardian, it stays secure and in order to unlock it you need to send an SMS. Also, you can enable Phone Guardian to send automatically a secure SMS, with information that allows you to catch the thief. This is by default enabled on SIM Change.

Key Features of Phone Guardian Software are:

Remote mobile lock and unlock with lock SMS

Phone Guardian becomes active (locks the mobile, emits the siren) when a different SIM card is inserted or on lock SMS.

Operator specific and location information is automatically sent to the number specified, including the number of SIM, IMSI and CellID numbers. You can then use this data to map the location of the cell phone using CellToMap.

Siren option can be put on and off.

Uninstall possible only with secure password.

Phone lock is independent from phone restart. This means that if you have locked the phone, it cannot be unlocked by restarting. The only way to unlock the phone is by sending a specific sms with password details.

Do note that this software is useful for mobile phones which run on Symbian 9.1 Series 60 3rd Edition Operating System. for a complete list of compatible devices.

Sub: Theft of my mobile piece Nokia N-70.

On 15th May 2008, at about 7.00 pm, I went to the Railway Reservation Complex, Secundrabad, for the purpose of Information regarding to the availability of trains reservation. After completion of my work and when I turned back I found that my cell was stolen by somebody from by pocket. Immediately, I approached the Gopalapuram Police station and gave a complaint.
The old SIM was not blocked till evening of 19th may. I had taken duplicate SIM with same number on 19th may at 9.00pm. And also I lodge a complaint through E-seva paying Rs.100 to Government of Andhra Pradesh Rajiv Citizen Services.
I request you to investigate the matter thoroughly and help me in recovering the same.

I also request you to register this case and issue a copy of the FIR for my record.
