[Torrents] Avoid Downloading Fake Torrents with Vertor
More than a million downloads are done daily using the various torrent websites. With such a huge number of downloads happening on a daily scale, BitTorrent sites are definitely a great arena for spammers, spywares and scanners.
Vertor is a new BitTorrent site that aims to eliminate these threats. Every torrent on the site is checked for viruses, DRM and password protected archives by Vertor’s software, and users are able to preview the contents of torrents before they download them.

Similarly, for music torrents users can preview 20 seconds of the tracks, to avoid downloading the wrong files, wasting precious bandwidth.

If you are someone who doesn’t understand a bit about Torrents but would still like to download movies, games and other software using Torrents, Vertor comes with a special feature; When you find the desired torrent, just press “Download from the web” button. It will open up a new browser window with the applet that allows to download torrent files at just one click straight from your browser.
Vertor definitely looks promising given the fact that their are a huge number of Torrent users who already download junk in the name of original stuff thereby giving spammers, spywares and malwares an opportunity to leach out details from your system.
