Recover Deleted Files with Recuva
Like most others, even i too have a tool box comprising of essential software utilites. I usually prefer free utilities and have also written about them in various posts like [Utilities] 3 System Utilities you should Try and 5 Freeware Softwares Worth Giving a Try.
Today, i would like to recommend another tool from my tool box. This tool is called Recuva and is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted by bugs, crashes and viruses!.
Recuva comes with an interesting wizard which lets you choose the drives you would like to scan and recover deleted files from. So if you have are looking out for restoring that specific image you deleted from your computer, just launch Recuva, select appropriate paramters through the wizard and let Recuva do its stuff.

Once Recuva is finished with the scan, it gives you list alongwith a checkbox which allows you to select the files you wish to recover. All you need to do is select the files you wish to recover and press Recover.
