[Firefox] Speed Up Firefox by Tweaking Firefox Pipelining

If you have a Firefox installation and wondering about its slow speed, its time you tweak up Firefox’s network pipelining settings. These network pipelining settings govern how Firefox connects and fetches the various objects which are later rendered on the browser.

Pipelining lets Firefox load several objects simultaneously rather than one at a time.

In order to tweak your Firefox settings, follow the steps below

1.) Open up your Firefox browser and type in about:config in the address bar.

2.) Search for network.http.pipelining and set the value to true by double clicking.

3.) Next locate network.http.proxy.pipelining and double click to set it to true

4.) Next change the value for network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and set it to 30.

5.) Once you have all the above changes, close and restart your Firefox browser.

After making the above changes, next time you open your Firefox Browser, you shall see a noticable increase in speed.
