If you are looking out for a freeware application which can help you graphically analyse your disk space usage, JDiskReport is the software to go for. JdiskReport allows you to view disk space usage with the help of graphical, interactive pie charts.
JDiskReport allows you to quickly find the largest, oldest or newest files and gather statistics about file sizes and types for each drive. The tool analyses your disk drives and collects several statistics which you can view as overview charts and details tables.
JDiskReport provides different perspectives about your disk drives: absolute and relative sizes, size distribution, distribution of modification dates, and distribution of types.
Each perspective includes a pie chart, a bar chart, and a details table. You can choose to either show the file size or the number of files. Also, JDiskReport collects a list of 100 largest, oldest, and newest files. JDiskReport requires Java; get Java first, then download and install JDiskReport.
JDiskReport even allows you to export the data to Excel, You can export table data via the system clipboard. First, choose the view in JDiskReport that you want to export. From theView menu choose Copy to Clipboard, which will write the table data as tab-separated list to the system clipboard. You can then paste the data into many spreadsheet applications that support this format.
