How To Send Fax From Your Mobile Using Qipit?
1. Take a picture of the item you want to email.
2. Prepare to send the picture via picture message (MMS) or mobile email to copy@qipit.com for a black and white copy.
3. Enter the recipient’s fax number in the body of the message or text field. Be sure you’re not typing in the subject area, it’s an easy mistake.
- You’ll need to switch your phone to input the number.
- The proper way to format a fax number is:
- US numbers: area code followed by the 7-digit fax number
no 1, no ( ), no – Ex. 4151234567 - International numbers: use standard international format
+ country code followed by the fax number
Ex. +33123456789
- US numbers: area code followed by the 7-digit fax number
4. If you want to send the qipit copy to more than one email address or fax number, just separate the addresses or numbers with commas (just like you would when you’re addressing an email to more than one recipient). But you can’t mix emails and faxes in the same message.
5. Now send the message or email. Your phone will tell you that it’s sending the message and qipit will notify you that the qipit copy was created within a minute. You’ll receive a warning message if qipit detects that your image copy quality was poor and you’ll be asked to try again.

Thanks for the post about Qipit! You did a great job of describing the features of our service. Just wanted to note that before you send an image to copy@qipit.com (for black & White) or color@qipit.com (for color), make sure you have signed up for a free account and registered your phone and/or email address that you will be using to send images to be processed. Otherwise, Qipit will not know what account to associate with the image.
Thanks again.
sound awesome!!!
