[Firefox Add-On] TinyURL Generator
If you often find yourself going to the TinyURL website in order to generate short URLs for those huge URLs, an interesting Firefox Add-On called TinyURL Generator is what you might be interested to know about.
TinyURL Generator add-on allows you to generate a TinyURL for the page you are currently viewing in the background. The URL created is then copied into your clipboard so that it can be pasted into e-mails or IM messages instantly. You can choose to create a direct link, or one that allows the recipient to preview the link before visiting it.
In order to get started, follow the steps below
1.) Download and install TinyURL Generator. This is a experimental Add-on and you would be required to login in order to download the firefox-addon.
2.) Once installed, you will be able to see a link icon in your Firefox taskbar.
3.) Right click on the icon and you will get Two menu items. One for generating a TinyURL link and the other for generating a preview link.
4.) When you select any of these two, the result is copied onto the clipboard and ready to be pasted.
So next time you need to generate short URLs using TinyURL, do make use of the TinyURL Generator Firefox Add-On.

Somehow , I still like TinyURL Creator which comes on the Right Click of the mouse https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/126 and that addon is so much useful.
IMHO, snipr.com is much more useful than tinyurl , reason being it at least gives me the statistics of how many people really clicked on the link…
