As per Avert Labs, Love Spam is growing as we have the Valentines day approaching. Earlier, in my post [How-To] Stay Safe from Valentine SPAM you learnt how the Spam related to Valentine’s Day spreads. 
The graph below clearly depicts the rising rate of Valentines day Spam.

As per the post by Avert Labs, 

The current wave of Valentine’s Day spam contains links to domains that carry the Waledac Trojan. We are currently monitoring about 100 of these infected domains. Each of the domains is fast-fluxed, so there are hundreds of nameservers and thousands of IP addresses involved.

The trojan involved is called W32/Waledac.gen.b and is the same trojan which was named for the Barack Obama refuses to accept the Presidentship spam.

So now you know the reason for the increasing rate of mails in your mailbox, with subjects related to “love”. Beware, don’t fall for them.
