[Wordpress] Analyze Where People Click On Your Site With HeatMap Plugin

We already know about the age old saying “In Life, being at the right place at the right time helps one succeed”. This saying goes well with the webpages as well. Placing right objects at the right place certainly plays pivotal role in ensuring success. Having a sense of where the users click the most, helps in placing not only advertisements but also other targeted campaigns. In my earlier post Where do you place your Adsense and Chitika Ads? we learnt about the heatmap which shows where users  click the most. Placing advertisements at such places helps in getting a better CTR and thereby better revenue.

What is a HeatMap?

A heat map is any data visualization which uses color to represent data values in a two-dimensional image. There are many different types of heat maps used in different disciplines, each refered to by the term “heat map”, even though they use different visualization techniques. Most heat maps use mapping techniques to represent their data rather than charting and graphing techniques, thus providing unique views of data not available in charts and graphs. Often HeatMaps are used to track the analytics related to clicks made by site visitors.
