[Adsense] Category Based Ad Filtering Coming Soon
Google Adsense Blog has posted an update on the new feature being developed by its engineers. The new feature will allow you to filter out ads based on broader categories like Religion, Politics etc. The feature is currently under testing.
Category filtering will give publishers the ability to block ads that fall into specific categories such as dating, religion, and politics. Regardless of how ads are targeted, they’ll be filtered if they’re within one of the selected categories. We’ll also show the percentage of recent revenue that ads in each category generate, so publishers can predict how filtering selections will impact their revenue.

Category based Ad Filtering is currently only available to a small number of publishers for testing purposes. Based on the feedback received, Google will make necessary updates before the public rollout.
