MoCoLife is a networking platform whic provides you a interface to send text messages (sms),subscribe for daily alerts,gift a ringtone, set reminders for important dates, buy keywords for business promotion and also create a phonebook of your contact network. MoCoLife is promoted by Times Internet Ltd, a subsidiary of the Times of India Group.

MocoLife allows you to send messages either using the paid credits ( which you buy from them) or through the free credits. The free credit approach allows you to send messages upto 80 chars.

This article describes various features offered by MocoLife. I have also written a short verdict statement in the end. The statement is based on my experience with MocoLife and also based on already available services.

Features available with MocoLife

1.) SMS Services

You can send Free or Paid bulk sms to mobile phones of your friends and associates across India, from your computer. Register on MoCoLife and you will be entitled to free sms messages every month.

You can buy Paid Credits from MoCoLife and send unlimited bulk sms messages across India from the website, for as low as 25 paise per message. (One credit is equal to one text sms.).

You get 30 Free sms Credits upon registering with MoCoLife. Each free credit can be used to send a free message online from computer to any mobile phone user across India.

You can create multiple user groups on your profile ID and can send unlimited bulk sms messages from computer to mobile in one go and at very cheap rates. This is the easiest medium to send cheap and low-cost messages online from your computer or MoCoLife website to your friends and contacts.You can schedule your web to mobile bulk free sms messages to be sent on a pre-set time and date, to a pre-set group of friends and associates in India.

2.) Subscription Alerts

You can subscribe to daily SMS Alerts on News, Jokes, Astrology, Bollywood Gossip, Morning Mantra and more.

a.) News Alerts: Get the latest and most happening sms News alerts and updates on your mobile, daily. Get news alerts and updates on the move and keep yourself a step ahead of others.

You can gift your favourite ringtone to your friends instantly across India or schedule it for a delivery later.

You can choose from a list of hottest ringtones, be it Bollywood, Regional, or Devotional. You have a choice of Monotones, Polytones, and Trutones.

5.) SMS & Voice Greetings

With Mocolife, you can send wonderful text greetings and voice greetings to your friends and family members.

The only catch is that you get 30 Free Credits on registeration to MoCoLife. You can further add Free credits by referring friends, participating in promotional offers etc.

After having used this service and checked out the various services offered by them, i would recommend that you stick to 160by2 and Youmint for these features. While i didn’t have any issues with the sms delivery from Mocolife, the limit of 30 credits doesn’t sound too good with a service which is limiting you to 80 chars. So if you are someone who wants to know just another service for sending free sms , Mocolife might be the way to go.
