Friendfeed has added a new feature which will allow users to share files with each other.Friendfeed subscribers already had the option of uploading photos. With the new feature, users will also be able to upload and share other formats like .doc,.pdf,.xls and many other formats of files.

As per the Friendfeed blog

To share files on friendfeed.com, simply click the “Files” link underneath the post box and select which files you want to include. You can also share files by including them as attachments on emails sent to share@friendfeed.com.

Some observations

1.) If you try uploading more than 3 audio files, you get an error saying “ You can only upload 3 audio files every day. Please try again later.”

2.) Maximum file size supported is not known officially.

3.) There doesnt seem to exist a Cancel button while the upload is in progress.
