Floorplanner is a free service which helps you create and share interactive floor plans.Using point-and-click, drag-and-drop tools, you can make your house plan in minutes, and rearrange it as often as you want. Then you can save, send, and print your designs to share them, or place them on your own website.

Floorplanner is an online CAD (Computer Aided Design) system specifically developed for bringing good-looking, complex floor plans within reach of everyone. Since its international launch in 2007, Floorplanner has been embraced by almost one million registered users, ranging from individuals to small business owners to leading real estate companies.

Floorplanner is FREE for personal use. You can create 1 plan and save up to 5 designs in 2D and 3D. If you need more plans and/or want to support the development of Floorplanner please consider upgrading to a PLUS account. So if you are planning to use FloorPlanner for personal use, go ahead and create floor plans, then drop in furniture, rugs, windows, doors and lots of other features to design rooms on your computer screen.

The application is built using Ruby on Rails and Flash. When it comes to the end user, you do not need to download or install any seperate software for FloorPlanner to run (provided you have the flash plugin for your browser).Floorplanner runs in Flash and has a drag and drop interface using which you can customize almost anything you can imagine in your room.

I would suggest that you do have a look at FloorPlan. I have been playing with it since sometime now and i can say, its amazing and really also helps your creative juices flow.
