[Twitter] Stream and Share Live Video On Twitter Using TwitCam
Twitcam is a new service which lets you stream your live video and share the link with your followers over Twitter. In order to get started with Twitcam, all you need is a Webcam and a Twitter user id and password.
Twitcam creates a new page and a video player for the live stream broadcast. It then publishes the feed link to your Twitter account so that your follower can join in on a live webcast. Also, once you are live, you can directly chat with your viewers via Twitter right from your broadcast page.
Once you’re done with the live feed, Twitcam archives your video and displays it on the same page for later playback.

Livestream API handles live streaming scalability, server-based recording, and player development. This means developers are free to launch their own live streaming services.
