Yahoo Refines Image Search Based On Specific Locations

Yahoo has introduced today, a new image search feature which will allow users to refine searches based on specific location. Now on , If you search for place on Yahoo’s image search, you will be presented with a menu on the left hand of the screen. The menu will point you to the images of various points of interest from the location entered in the search box.

As of now, all locations might not be available for search. As of now, Yahoo Image Search refiner is right now only available for location-specific searches,however, Yahoo is planning to expand this feature to other types of image searches soon.

Searching for Bangalore in Yahoo Image Search reveals a result as shown below.
