[India] Bharti Airtel Introduces BlackBerry Curve 8520
Bharti Airtel which is Asia’s leading integrated telecom services provider and RIM ( Research In Motion) have launched the new BlackBerry 8520 Curve smartphone in India.Offered at the attractive price of Rs.15,990, the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 will be available nationally from Airtel’s authorised outlets through Bharti Teletech Limited across India on August 7th.
BlackBerry curve 8520 is by far the only BlackBerry smartphone to feature a optical trackpad instead of a trackball.
The phone features a Full QWERTY Keyboard, Quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, 2.46 inch QVGA display, Wi-fi support, HTML Browser, Advanced Email capabilities, 2 MP Camera, 3.5 mm headset jack and a 1150 mAh battery (providing up to 4.5 hours of talk time, or up to 17 days of standby time).

The BlackBerry curve 8520 debuts in the US today ( i.e. 5th August 2009). The phone will be launched by T-Mobile in the US.
