[iPod Touch and iPhone] GPush Bring Push Notifications for Gmail
GPush is a latest Apple iPhone App which allows you to receive instant Gmail Push Notifications on your Apple iPhone and iPod Touch running Apple iPhone OS 3.0 or newer.
Push notifications became popular with BlackBerry and Apple iPhone has introduced it with its Os 3.0 . Some key features provided by the GPush application are listed below
1.) With GPush you can instantly receive Gmail new message notification on the iPhone.
2.) GPush helps you save your battery as it relies on Push email rather than pulling the data from the server after every set amount of time.
3.) Ability to see emails on the standby screen just like sms.
4.) SSL security certificate used to ensure password security for GPush users.
With GPush, you can choose how to be notified on new email. Available options include having the phone vibrate, ring, display email message on standby screen or have GPush icon display how many new messages are unread.

GPush is available from the Apple iTunes Store for $0.99 .
In my opinion, GPush certainly is an interesting application and it solves the issue of push notifications for Gmail. So if you are a Gmail user and also own an iPhone ( which runs the OS 3.0 or newer) , you might just want to shell off $0.99 from your wallet to get hold of this interesting application.
