[How-To] Stop Internet Explorer From Saving Passwords
I don’t use Internet Explorer often ( my favorite browsers are Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome), but whenever i do, Internet Explorer asks me if i want the password to be remembered, which in a way means, that Internet Explorer will save the userid and password combination for a particular website and whenever i use IE to open up that particular website, it will auto-fill it.
Follow the steps below to stop Internet Explorer from remembering your userid’s and passwords and autocompleting them on the forms.
1.) Open Control Panel on your Windows system.
2.) Double click on Internet Options.
3.) Next, click on the Content Tab.
4.) Click on the button titled Autocomplete.
5.) Uncheck the checkbox which says, “User Names and Passwords on Forms”.
Similarly, you can also ask Internet Explorer to remember your usernames and passwords ( i.e. if you ever told Internet Explorer to not “ask to remember passwords”), by following same steps till step 4 and instead of unchecking, check the checkbox which says “User Names and Passwords on Forms”.
