[Tata Indicom] ‘Pay Per Call’ Allows You to Talk for Unlimited Minutes For Re1
Tata Teleservices, one of India’s largest telecom operators have launched a ‘pay per call’ plan which allows its CDMA users to talk for unlimited hours on local call rates of Re 1 only.
The ‘pay per call’ plan will initially be made available to Tata Indicom CDMA prepaid subscribers.Current users can avail of the offer with a one-time recharge fee of Rs 96-99, depending on the circle. The validity of the plan is 10 years. Based on the feedback, the plan will eventually be rolled out to Post-paid subscribers as well.
The tariff details for the ‘Pay Per Call’ plan are as mentioned below
Local Calls : 1 Re per call.
STD Calls : 3 Rs per call.
SMS : 50 paise per sms.
The tariff plan is valid for all calls made by Tata Indicom subscribers to any mobile phone or landline connection on any network.

All subscribers who opt for the ‘Pay Per Call’ plan will be charged a daily fee of Re 1 to avail of the tariff option.
In my opinion, this is definitely a killer offering when looked from the perspective of the customer. The plan brings a radical shift in the way telecom companies approach a retail customer as of now.
It will certainly be very interesting to see how this plan works for the company and the subscribers.

Hi,
Tata Indicom has changed its Pay per Call Plan a bit.Actually, the advertisement’s according to today’s Kolkata Leading Daily Anandabazar Patrika a popular Bengali Newspaper gives a “Regret Letter”saying that it has been their fault to publish the advertisement. Rs.96(For old /existing customers of Tata)easy recharge was changed to Rs.254. Now, in the previous amount Re.1 was given as talktime while in this new amount Rs.54/- is given as talktime. I have personally done the easy recharge a few minutes ago which was successful thought Tata Indicom website’s easy recharge option as I have a Net Banking A/C.Others who don’t have one and maybe interested can also do it with a specified bank’s Debit Cum ATM Card. Come to think of it ,it is not bad actually. In the previous plan if we calculate then =Rs.96 and Re.1 comes to Rs.95 ie.1 days rental(as they said that Re.1 /day deduction). In any case we would have to recharge with Rs.29/-for daily decrement of Re.1/- (if we take in a/c Rs.96 voucher) and then Rs.24(Topup) which comes to Rs.96-1=95+29(daily decrement)+24(topup)=148/- *.I specified Rs.24/- as Topup since as I calculated that the New Rs.254 easy recharge is giving the same amount as talktime. Now,in the New Rs.254/- voucher ,they are already giving a talk time of Rs.54 which means daily decrement of Rs.1/day = Rs.30 and Rs.24/- as talktime, which means we are getting a free talktime of actually approx.4 hrs.for local call and 2 hrs.for STD Calls. Not very bad,for the first month for those who does not like too much talking on the Mobiles/Phones.
*In the previous plan if we take a closer look and adjust the Topups to Rs.154,then actually we are giving Rs.100/- more.
I think this changed plan is also not too bad either.
Hi,
Please let me know the time duration that pay per call offer charges Rs1 for local and Rs3 for STD. Is it umlimited?
I am interested in tata indicom’s pay per call plan plz let me know who to avail this offer and how to get the sim card as i am not a tata indicom customer but would like to be.
yup Ramkrishna it is unlimited
dont u read that schem?? it is clearly written 1Rs./call…..
i want the tata indicom pay/plan in landline connection, with their brosser/leaflate and about other scheme in landline connection & GSM services, please tellabout me tataphoten + terrif plan, immediate me tell this. thank you
First of all its not unlimited talking,,,,the pulse is of 10 min. Therefore the rate is Rs 1/10 min for local and Rs 3/10 min for STD. You need to buy a new TATA CDMA phone for it as it cannot be used on any old CDMA phone. If u try to use it then the plan would not be there and regular plan will follow instead of this plan…..but still this plan is really gud and can be opted for if u talk for long hours…:)
i m vodafone user n is intersd in py per cal of tata. i tlk 4 long hrs. so ny1 can ply help in d total cost for dis plan n new sim.Conection cost n all.
