[PlayStation] Having Issues with PlayStation 3.0 Firmware? Sony is working on a Fix
If you upgraded to the recently released Sony Playstation 3.0 Firmware and have been experiencing issues since the upgrade, you are not the only one. The good news is, Sony is aware of it and is working on a fix.
Many Sony PlayStation 3.0 users have reported issues like disappearing menu items, issues with accessing PSN, access to trophies giving issues etc. after they upgraded to the latest firmware.
In a post, Patrick Seybold, Sr. Director, Corporate Communications & Social Media at Sony says
SCEA is aware of reports that PS3 owners are experiencing isolated issues with their PS3 system since installing the most recent system software update (v3.00). Rest assured that we are looking into the matter and will provide an update here as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, as it’s our mission to deliver the best consumer experience on all PlayStation platforms.
Users have also been asking for features to Change back the font and icon size back to the way it was before, option to disable the ticker and also to allow listening to music when browsing the net or viewing a photo.
Are you also experiencing any issues after upgrading to the latest firmware? If you are still on Sony Playstation 3 Firmware v2.80, i would recommend that you postpone your firmware upgrade plans till Sony comes out with an update to the Firmware v3.0 issues.
