Today is 15th September, the day Microsoft is releasing the new Microsoft Zune HD.  With the latest Zune HD, you can also grab the Zune 4.0 update which is now live.

If you have an old version of the Zune Player, you can upgrade to the latest Zune 4.0 by launching the player and letting it check for updates.

The new Zune 4.0 brings with it new look, new opening Quickplay page, updated store which shows new HD movies, rentals and TV shows. The best of all though, is Microsoft providing an opportunity to Zune Pass music subscribers to stream music over the web by logging into their Zune.net account on any computer ( Mac or PC).

Zune 4.0 software is free to download and use. You also get a free 14-day Zune Pass to browse, stream, and download millions of songs. A new download of the software is 131 MB.
