Create Your Own Ringtones and Wallpapers With Mobile17

Mobile17 is a web based service which allows you to create your own ringtones and wallpapers for free. The service also offers you the option to download popular songs which have recently been turned into ringtones by other users. With Mobile17 you can convert 40 seconds of the MP3 track into a ringtone.

With Mobile17, you need to select the MP3 file, select the start time and the duration for which you wish to create the ringtone. You also need to enter the Artist and title to “label” your ringtone. Next you need to press the Make My Ringtone button.

In order to get your ringtone, Mobile17 requires that you sign up for the service ( which is free). I tried the service and found that it takes quite some time before the ringtone is sent to your phone.

You can also use Mobile17 to create wallpapers and other graphics for free. Mobile17 also allows you to integrate your Facebook friends and suggest ringtones to them or see what they’re creating using the Facebook connect.
