Ping Brings iPhone to iPhone Messaging For Free

Ping is the latest app under the category social networking, the app allows you to send free sms from your iPhone to your buddies iPhone for free.Ping is essentially a free SMS application which allows you to send sms to those who have an iPhone or an iPod Touch and also are signed up with Ping.

Ping for iPhone and iPod Touch gives the users same capability as the users of the BlackBerry Messenger.

In order to start, you need to download the free Ping! application and setup a username with the service. Users can invite other users through the application or email and let the other users know their username. The app can also be configured to use Push notifications. The app works globally, so if you have friends and family in different countries who also own an iPhone or iPod Touch like you, persuade them to sign up for Ping and send sms to them for free.
