[How-To] Send Feed Items From Google Reader To Evernote
I use both Google Reader and Evernote and in order to ensure that i am able to save the feed items i like, i use a simple hack which is essentially a feature provided by Google Reader.
A few months back, Google Reader announced the availability of custom Send-To links. In this article, i will describe how you can send your favorite blog posts directly to Evernote service from Google Reader.
1.) Login to your Google Reader account.
2.) Navigate to the Settings menu.
3.) Click on the Send To link.
4.) Next, Click on the link which says “Create a Custom link”.You will be presented with three input fields, enter the information as mentioned below and press Save.
Name: Evernote
URL: http://s.evernote.com/grclip?url=${url}&title=${title}
Icon URL: http://www.evernote.com/favicon.ico

5.) Once you are done with the above step, navigate back to your Google Reader by clicking on the link “Back to Google Reader” at the top of the page.
Next, when you are reading an article on Google Reader, clicking on the Send-to menu will present you with an Option to send the item to Evernote.

Whenver you send an item to Evernote, you will be prompted to login to Evernote account and also add tags.
The best part about this feature is that it saves the entire page and not just the clip you see in Google Reader.
