[Usability] Understand What Catches Your User’s Attention With FiveSecondTest

FiveSecondTest is a very cool tool for website owners and usability specialists to analyse what matter the most, “User Attention”.

The website allows users to upload images which are then reviewed by random internet users. Viewers view the image for just 5 seconds and then indicate areas of the image which caught their attention. Viewers are also provided text fields on the screen and they can describe what they saw on the places they clicked.

FiveSecondTest is a free service. In my opion, it can be a very important tool to understand users first impression about a website or a product or a graphic design. If you are into usability and user interface, you might want to bookmark FiveSecondTest.

In order to create tests and check result, you need not signup for the service. However, signing up allows you to have a single window for all your tests and results.
