TwitterFeed Now Supports Facebook

TwitterFeed, the service i wrote about earlier in my post titled Use Twitter to Publicize your blog now also supports Facebook. Essentially, what this means is, you can now configure Twitterfeed to listen to a RSS feed and post the updates directly to your Facebook account ( it already supported Twitter).

What’s more, you’ll see statistics for each post showing you just how many people clicked on posts from Facebook vs those from Twitter. This is certainly very cool as you’ll be able to better understand just where your social media strategy is working and where it needs more tweaking.

In order to get started with integrating TwitterFeed and Facebook, simply login to your Twitterfeed account and setup the feed to publish to Facebook. TwitterFeed feed editing now supports feed publication to Twitter and Facebook.

TwitterFeed has also added more features and they include

1.) Pubsubhubbub real-time feed publishing

Twitterfeed now works with Pubsubhubbub. This means that sites enabled with Pubsubhubbub, like Typepad and Blogger sites, will be able to see their posts published in real time. Twitterfeed will also be announcing support for RSScloud too, with this wordpress sites can also be published in real time.

2.) Google Analytics Integration

Twitterfeed now adds special ‘UTM’ tags to each post that it publishes. Google Analytics can read these tags and integrate the information into its reporting. You’ll be able to understand how people clicking on your posts from Facebook differ from those clicking from Twitter and track the complete path of their visit to your site.

Certainly very cool additions to the already cool service offered by Twitterfeed.
