Xinorbis is a powerful Hard Disk Space Analyser

If you too have a habit of installing whatever software comes your way, either to evaluate it or to use it, am sure you will soon stuff up your hard disk to the levels where it will become tough for you to answer ” Whats clogging my hard disk space?”, well this happens with me all the time and therefore i wanted to get hold of some software which can help me visually analyse the space available on my hard disk.

I earlier reviewed JDiskReport in my post titled [Disk Space] Analyze Your Disk Space Graphically Using JDiskReport, while JDiskReport is a great software, i am always looking out for multiple softwares which can do the same thing, and that is when i found Xinorbis.

Xinorbis is a powerful yet simple hard disk space analyser. Xinorbis displays complete overview of content of hard disk, folder,removable or network drive by making use of graphs, tables and tree structure displays.

Features provided by Xinorbis include

  • Ability to analyse a single drive, folder or merge several together in one report.
  • You can view the results by file type, attributes, size, user (owner) and date
  • Folder History feature allows you to compare the contents of a folder or drive at times and dates.
  • Xinorbis has a in-built powerful search engine (+ save results to a file or clipboard)
  • Xinorbis also allows you to find duplicate files (by name and size)
  • Xinorbis allows you to generate reports (with many user customisations) and also supports exports to HTML, ASCII, CSV or XML
  • You can save reports and tables for later comparison or for inclusion in other documents.
  • Xinorbis also has shell support and ability to scan a directory through Windows Explore.
