NASA Releases App for iPhone

NASA has launched a free iPhone and iPod Touch Application which will allow users to access news, videos, and images published by NASA. The app has been developed by the NASA Ames Research Center delivers up-to-the-minute NASA content directly from Agency sources in one easy-to-use mobile platform.

The app also allows you to follow the path and progress of space exploration in real time while tracking global orbits of your favorite spacecraft, right from the palm of your hand.

The software makes extensive use of built-in iPhone features and usability to offer NASA information in a clear and intuitive way.

In my opinion, this application for the iPhone and iPod Touch by NASA, certainly provides an easy and interesting way for the public to experience space exploration.
