If you are looking out for a way to listen to internet radio stations on your cellphone, Mundu Radio is in my opinion, one of your best bet. While modern day cellphones, do carry a FM radio, often listeners are bored of listening to the FM stations which usually play the same songs everytime.

You can get the Internet Radio stream on your cellphone by downloading the application on your cellphone. In order to stream the radio, the application would need GPRS / CDMA / 3G / HSDPA or Wi-Fi access. The Mundu Radio application is available for Windows Mobile 5.0 and above, BlackBerry, Palm OS, Symbian OS and Windows Mobile Pocket PC.

Mundu Radio provides access to dozens of pre-defined Digital Radio stations across all popular categories – Pop, Rock, Classical, Bollywood, Instrumental, Country, Hip-Hop and many more. If your favorite radio station is missing from the list, you can add your own music station as well. Streams for the channels are available on 32, 64 and 128 KBPS.

In order to get started, once you have downloaded and installed the Mundu Radio application on your cellphone, login to the application ( remember to check the box which says “Remember my ID & Password?” option).

Mundu Radio is free to use. Mundu Radio, makes use of your phone’s data plan and therefore you are advised to refer to the data usage plan for pricing.

Receiving calls while streaming data on a GPRS or CDMA connection has been seen as problem. User may not receive incoming calls while listening to mundu radio. Exact behavior depends on the network and your handset. The person who is calling a mundu radio listener might be informed that you are unavailable. 3G Users should be able to receive calls.
