Netflix Streaming Will Soon Be Available On Nintendo Wii

Netflix is already available over the Microsoft XBox 360 and recently it was confirmed that the Netflix Movie Streaming will be available for Sony PS3 soon. Well, one could have guessed it and now Streaming Media has confirmed that NetFlix streaming is coming to Nintendo Wii shortly.

Streaming Media hasn’t shared any images for obvious reasons of protecting the source and i appreciate this fact. With regards to when this feature will be rolled out, the blog says

What I’m hearing is that Nintendo originally planned to bring the Netflix service to the Wii before the end of this year, which still might take place, but that Nintendo is also considering holding off on the Netflix service until they release their next generation Wii HD unit in early 2010.

Pretty interesting. If you ask me, i would be a happy man, if this feature rolls out sooner than later.
