Google Chrome Updates to 3.0.195.32 (Fixes Security and Stability bugs)

Google Chrome has released an update to its stable release. The latest release versioned 3.0.195.32 fixes several security and stability bugs. While Google Chrome upgrades to the latest stable release automatically ( in the background, if you have internet connection), you can upgrade manually by navigating to Settings (icon) –> About Google Chrome  and click on Check for Updates. Once the updates have been downloaded, you will have to restart the browser for the changes to be applied.

Following are the stability issues fixed in the latest release

  • Resolved a history issue that affected going back from queries in Google Maps.
  • Fixed issue with Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.2, where no content would be displayed.
  • Fixed an infinite loop in AAC decoding.
  • Fixed a top crasher.
  • Fix issues where setInterval sometimes eats 100% CPU.

Security Issues fixed in latest Google Chrome release include

  • User not warned for some file types that can execute JavaScript.
  • Possible memory corruption in the Gears plugin.

Earlier today, Mozilla also released an update to its stable Firefox 3.5.x series in the form of Firefox 3.5.5 which fixes stability issues.
