Repair Common Windows XP Issues With XP Quick Fix Plus
If your computer runs Windows XP and is throwing up, XP Quick Fix Plus is a pretty neat utility for you to try.
The application is available for free download and have around 40 quick fixes which are arranged in a chart pattern.The fixes mentioned in the chart view are clickable buttons. Some of the fixes available include CDs not autoplaying, file associations grayed out, the boot.ini tab missing in MSCONFIG,removing duplicate icons in desktop etc.
Most of the fixes available with XP Quick Fix Plus are some or the other kind of registry hacks which automatically get executed when you press the button. As this involves playing with the registry, my suggestion to you is to take a backup before going ahead with pressing any of those 40 buttons.

In case if your computer is part of an organizational network, some of the issues might be because of the IT group policy, XP Quick Fix Plus is only for fixing issues with personal and private computers.
