BlackBerry App World Is Now Available In India

Research In Motion (RIM) has launched the BlackBerry App World in India. The global app world was launched earlier this year in April 09.The app world can be downloaded from Blackberry’s website. BlackBerry app world requires BlackBerry OS 4.2 or higher.

The BlackBerry App World has a range of applications available as free downloads and paid ones too. From an Indian app perspective, some of the apps listed include Hungama MyPlay, CNBC TV18 Moneycontrol, Mundu Radio and Arromatics. The App world also has apps listed under categories just like the Apple iTunes store.

Please be informed that while downloading BlackBerry App World is free, it does makes use of the data connection of your phone and you will be charged according to your plan.
