Read it Later Allows You To Save WebPages To Read Later
I was looking out for a free plugin / tool to help me get better with the webpages i wish to read ( but do not want to add directly to my bookmarks folder) and that is when i found Read it Later. Read It Later is available as a plugin for Firefox, as an application for iPhone and iPod Touch and if you are using any other browser, you can always use the Read it Later bookmarklet.
As a Firefox add-on, Read It Later adds a checkmark in the address bar. Clicking the checkmark automatically adds the current page to your list in one click. Read it Later also allows you to read the webpages offline. In case, If you want to do some reading while away from an internet connection, on the plane or train, before disconnecting click ‘Read Offline’ to have Read It Later download the pages from on your list for offline access. Switch Firefox to ‘Work Offline’ and you are good to go. You can also sync your list with all of your Computers/Devices using the Read It Later web service. Read it Later also has a Google Reader integration which allows you to mark the items in your Google Reader for later reading.
Read It Later also has several bookmarklets (bookmarks with super powers) that let you access and manage your Read It Later list from most web browsers and phones.
Read It Later bookmarklets let you:
- Save a page in one click
- View your reading list in one click
- Work in Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, Opera and on most smart phones
- Require no download and can be removed instantly
