Hindustan Times comes to the Kindle

Hindustan Times has become the first Indian newspaper to make it to the Kindle. Amazon Kindle is available in India for a price of $279.

Amazon Kindle wirelessly downloads books, magazines, newspapers and personal documents to a 6-inch electronic ink display that looks and reads like real paper. Kindle utilizes the same 3G wireless technology as advanced cell phones.

Hindustan Times will be available worldwide on Amazon Kindle for a monthly subscription price of Rs. 460.

Amazon also offers Kindle for PC for free.
