Nokia 2710 is a GPS Enabled Phone (costs €110)
Nokia has announced Nokia 2710,which will be a GPS enabled phone available for €110 only. As per Nokia, Nokia 2710 will be popular in both developed as well as developing countries and has been developed with urban environments, small towns, as well as rural areas in mind. Incorporating straight line navigation with the assistance of an integrated digital compass, it also includes turn-by-turn driving navigation with full voice guidance.
Nokia will be providing relevant maps on the phone in order to ensure that GPS based navigation can be used even in the absence of internet connection.
Nokia 2710 will also feature a 2.2 inch QVGA display, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1, 2MP Camera, 2GB memory card as part of the box. The device will go for up to 18 days between charges in standby mode and will give up to four hours and 20 minutes talk time.
Nokia 2710 is expected to be available from second quarter of 2010.
