In case if you are on the lookout for a free web-based service to track your Daily Expenses, Chipper provides some easy to use, no-frills features.

Chipper is an online personal expense tracking tool. Chipper keeps a track of how much you spend on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, projects your month’s expenditure based on your spending pattern and helps you plan your month’s expenses.

With Chipper, you can also review your expenses for past dates and month by navigating to the “View Transactions” tab. Chipper can also project your current month’s expenditure by reading through your previous spending pattern.  In order to do this, Chipper needs at least one month’s expenses to understand your spending pattern. It calculates your “Projected Expenses for This Month” more accurately if you regularly enter all your expenses for one month.

Apart from providing you an interface to log your expenses, Chipper also allows you to Set reminders for monthly bill payment dates, birthdays and anniversaries. You can even record your daily expenses through Buddy on your Gtalk. You don’t have to login to Chipper every day if you use this feature. Chipper can even be acessed from mobile through GPRS and also has a Orkut application.

For Google Talk (Gtalk), add buddy@mychipper.com to your friend list. Next, you send your expenses to mychipper by simply sending an instant message to this contact from your Gtalk. If you are on mobile, you can access chipper by browsing through mychipper.com/mobile
