Blowing off your Customer’s Minds using Twitter ( the PF Chang’s way)
Since the inception of Twitter, it has been making news and creating all the right buzz. Companies like Dell have reported that around $6 million of their revenue comes from Twitter ( rather users referred through Twitter).
Twitter has evolved as a marketing tool and companies who know how to use it the right way will continue to make money and create happier consumers.
In the must see video below, you can see what PF Chang’s did for a customer who was tweeting from inside one of its restaurants. For those of you who are not aware of PF Chang’s, it is an American restaurant chain founded in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1993 by Paul Fleming. The restaurants serve American Chinese cuisine from a menu originally conceived and planned by chef Philip Chiang. P. F. Chang’s is the namesake of Paul Fleming (P. F.) and Philip Chiang (whose surname is simplified to Chang.)
In my honest opinion, PF Chang’s has done a very cool innovative stuff with Twitter. Actions like these certainly help in creating happier customers. In the end its all about doing something extra, going the extra mile. Isn’t it?
