If you ever wanted to download a video or audio from the video / audio streaming website, the first thing you need to have your handle on is the URL of the file. However, most of the streaming websites, do not expose the URL of the video directly. Most of these websites, often use either activex scripts or javascript to make a call to the audio or video file on the server. As this call is made internally by the browser, the end user doesn’t get the URL. However, using URL Snooper you can get the URL of the actual file (object) easily.

In order to use the program, you must download it first. Once downloaded, launch the program and go to the web page with videos on it. When the browser makes request for the video, URL Snooper will grab the url of the audio/ video url for you. Once you have the url, you can easily download it or watch it directly from your local player.

While URL Snooper does give you the URL of the object (audio or video file), the only issue is, that it will give you the URL of the object for any video or audio component, irrespective of whether its the valid object or an ad.
