System Explorer is a Powerful Tool for System Analysis (Windows Only)
I was recently looking out for a tool which can help me analyze my computer ( or my client’s computer) within a single window, and, that is when i came across System Explorer.
System Explorer is a freeware program which helps you take a view of everything going inside the computer. It provides a muti-tabbed interface which arranges and displays all the information you would ever need to know about a computer which runs on Windows.
With a single click (the UI of the app displays 14 different tabs), System Explorer can provide you with information like active processes, performance, history, windows, connection, open files, netowork collections, startup applications, installed drivers etc. In addition to the monitoring tools, System Explorer offers single-click access to numerous Windows tools. Disk defragmenter, computer, group policy, services, and task management aren’t part of the application, but are made much easier to reach. System Explorer also has the possibility to obtain more information about each process from google, or check it for virus with an online anti-virus tool.
Major Features provided by System Explorer ( a Windows only tool) are:
- Detailed informations about Tasks, Processes, Modules, Startups, IE Addons, Uninstallers, Windows, Services, Drivers, Connections and Opened Files.
- Easy check of suspicious files via VirusTotal or Jotti service.
- Easy search details about file/process via online databases.
- Launcher (“New Task…” dialog) with integrated AutoSearch and AutoCompletion.
- Action History for monitoring processes activities.
- Performance graphs for monitoring usage of system resources in time.
- System Snapshots for easy finding of system changes.
- System Report builds rich text report containing major informations about your System.
- Multilanguage and Plugins Support.
- Security feature with online File Reviews.

You can download System Explorer from here. System Explorer is a freeware application and can be used for both personal as well as commercial usage.
System Explorer is available as both “installer” and “portable version”. Portable version of System Explorer can be copied on a USB pen drive and instantiated directly from the device.
