Microsoft has released pricing details for Office 2010 which is slated to release later this year. I earlier wrote about the leaked box art of Microsoft Office 2010 and also how you can register for the tech-preview of Office 2010.

Microsoft Office 2010 will be available in four version, Office Home and Business, Office Professional, Office Home and Student, and Office Professional Academic.

Office Home and Student will be available for $149, Office Home and Business will cost $279, Office Professional will sell for $499 and Office Professional Academic will retail for $99.

Apart from regular licenses, Microsoft will also be selling a Product Key Card, which is basically an attempt to help consumers more easily access and experience Office 2010 on new PCs that have been pre-loaded with Office 2010. The Product Key Card is a single license card (with no DVD media) that will be sold at major electronic retail outlets.

• Office Home and Student boxed product is available in a Family Pack, allowing usage on three PCs in one house.

• Purchase rights for Office Home and Business, Office Professional, and Office Professional Academic boxed product allow for usage on two of your PCs.

• The Product Key Card is valid for a single installation of the product.
