At the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Vegas, RIM ( Research in Motion), the guys who make BlackBerry have released a new device called the BlackBerry Presenter which can allow users to present Microsoft Powerpoint, PDF and other files of image format directly from their BlackBerry smartphone. Neat, right?

What this means is that if you have a BlackBerry Smartphone and a BlackBerry Presenter, you can leave your laptop behind whenever you wish to deliver presentations. You simply need to plug BlackBerry Presenter into a projector or monitor and select “Present” from the wizard on your BlackBerry smartphone.

Key Features of the BlackBerry Presenter are

1.) Loop Mode: Loop Mode allows you to set the time between slides and leave it running as you go on to deliver a presentation.

2.) Freeze Mode: This mode allows you to freeze a slide on-screen while you can browse through the rest of the presentation on your smartphone.

3.) Bluetooth Connection: Which allows you to roam upto 10 from the BlackBerry Presenter.

4.) BlackBerry Presenter supports NTSC and PAL video formats.

5.) BlackBerry Presenter will support S-Video, VGA video cables.

BlackBerry phones compatible with BlackBerry Presenter include; BlackBerry Bold 9000, BlackBerry 9700, BlackBerry Curve 8500 Series, BlackBerry Curve 8900 Series, BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Tour.

BlackBerry Presenter will be available for US $199.99.
