Crack Microsoft Word or Excel Passwords with Free Word password / Excel password
If you are looking out for a way to crack the passwords of protected Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or protected Microsoft Word documents, look no further. You can do so usingĀ the Free Word password / Excel password recovery software.
The tool requires Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your computer ( basically the computer on which you wish to run the software). Free Word password / Excel password recovery software offers two different options for cracking / recovering Excel and Word passwords.
1.) Dictionary Method – This approach basically tries words from a Dictionary and is useful when a common password was used as a password.
2.) Brute-Force Method — Brute Force approach for cracking passwords works by trying every possible combination of characters until it finds a match. The larger the character set and the longer the search length, the longer brute-force method will take.
How to get started with cracking Microsoft Word and Excel passwords using Free Word password / Excel password recovery software.
1.) Download and install the Free Word password / Excel password recovery software. (click here to download).
2.) Once you have installed the software, you need to select the file from which you wish to crack the password. The file can only be .doc or .xls
3.) Next, you can start Dictionary Recovery ( by clicking on the tab, Dictionary Recovery). For this, you must first select a dictionary. The software comes with a dictionary, however, if you have another dictionary text file, you can select that too. Once you have selected the dictionary, you must select Go.
4.) If for some reason, Dictionary Recovery is not able to find the password, you can try Brute-Force Recovery method by selecting the tab titled “Brute Force Recovery”. This method cannot recover passwords of length more than 8. If you are unsure about the password pattern, i would suggest, you select the character format to brute force to include everything ( i.e. numbers, letters and special characters).
