Netflix Streaming Coming to Nintendo Wii this Wednesday

Back in last days of October 2009, i wrote about the possibility of Netflix Streaming on Nintendo Wii and now, if the reports by New York Times have to be believed, Netflix Streaming will be making its way to the Nintendo Wii on Wednesday.

As per the report, Nintendo And Netflix will announce on Wednesday about the availability and possibility of streaming movies and TV episodes on Nintendo Wii. While the service will be free to Netflix subscribers with an unlimited streaming accounts, users will need to insert a special software disc which will be shipped by NetFlix while streaming.

As per the last article, Nintendo Wii might also soon be coming out with a HD-capable Wii system.

NetFlix is already available on the XBox 360 and the Sony PS3.
