Zune HD to get native Xvid Support and Smart DJ feature
Coming this year Spring, Microsoft Zune HD’s Firmware Update is reported to bring in native support for Xvid videos. If you are a torrent junkie, am sure you can already feel the smile on your face and say to yourself “nice”. While Xvid is definite, DivX might just have to wait for some more time.
Another cool feature which the firmware update is reported to bring with it is the Smart DJ feature. Smart DJ feature is currently avaiable on the Zune’s client software. I have heard many friends of mine, who are owners of Zune HD complain about this missing feature. Addition of Smart DJ will bring runtime Genius playlist capability ( as seen on the iPod Touch and iPhone).
Even better, Zune Pass users connected to wireless internet will be able to to create Smart DJ playlists that incorporate streamed content from the Zune Marketplace, besides the songs already stored on the player.

Like Paul, even i do not own a Zune HD right now, but, surely, with the upcoming firmware updates, it seems Zune HD is getting better.
