[India] Maruti Suzuki Cars get Costlier by 2%
Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest automobile company has increased the prices of many Maruti Suzuki car models by 2% on an average.
The increase in price is attributed to the increase in cost of raw material.
Maruti has increased the price of Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire by 10000 Rs, which is the maximum increase for any Maruti car model. Other significant price increases done by Maruti Suzuki are mentioned below
Maruti Swift Diesel — 6500 Rs.

Maruti SX4 — 2000 Rs.
A-Star, Ritz , Alto and Maruti 800 are now costlier by 600 Rs.

The new prices are effective immediately. Earlier, Honda and Toyota also increased the prices of their cars, citing costlier raw material as a reason.
