Often there are times when you have to login to a computer and for some reason, you no more remember the password. It can be the case that you were never aware of the password or you simply forgot.

1.) Reboot your computer.
2.) Hold Apple+S when booting to enter single user mode.
3.) #sh /etc/rc
4.) #passwd yourusername
5.) #reboot
