Have you updated your Facebook Privacy Settings?
Back in December, Facebook updated its privacy statement and also made the default privacy setting set to everyone. What this means is, that, if you haven’t updated your facebook profile privacy settings, your profile is visible to everyone ( including search engines).
Remember, any information that’s visible to Everyone may be seen by everyone on the internet. It will be visible to anyone viewing your profile, and Facebook-enhanced applications and websites that you use will be able to access it. Additionally, it may be visible in search engines or through RSS feeds.
While Facebook has modified the policy and is recommending “Everyone” as a setting for profile information. In my opinion, this should clearly be subject to your conscience.
In order to update your privacy settings, navigate to Settings –> Privacy Settings , once you logged into your Facebook account.
